Christian Aid Week at All Saints

As part of Christian Aid Week, all children at All Saints were ask to bring in one item from home that they think would be important in a disaster. Father Joe talk to the children about the work of Christian Aid and what we could do to help.

Nursery

I brought in Chocolate so you can have food and energy.

Reception

I brought in a first aide kit in case someone was hurt.

Year 2

I brought in tablets in case you get a stomach ache.

Year 3

I brought in a penknife because it is useful to make a shelter and cut food.

Year 4

I brought in cleansing pills because it is important to have clean water. I brought a waterproof blanket because you can make a shelter and carry things.

Year 5

I brought in rope because if there is a flood you could tie it between two trees and hold onto it.

Year 6

I brought in matches because if you heat water you can get diseases out of it and then cook in it.

All classes also built an Emergency Shelter and looked at a disaster kit. Thankyou to all the parents who helped us.
